Enabling Patient Portal Access
Configure Portal Credentials for Patient
Go to:
Patient → Demographics
- Open the patient record
- Locate the Portal Access section
- Set:
- Username (usually email)
- Temporary password or generate one
- Ensure Portal Enabled is checked
- Save
Provide Login Information to Patient
Share:
- Portal URL
- Username
- Temporary password
Ask the patient to change their password on first login
Verify Portal Access
- Have the patient log in
- Confirm they can view:
- Messages
- Documents
- Appointments

- Correct username and password
